Ugh, I cringe when I write this, but I totally bought into her narrative in Girl Wash Your Face. I was put off by the tone, but ignored that and tried to embrace the whole 'You are a kick ass woman who can do anything you can set your mind to' vibe...

It's been a lesson, to myself. Instead of relying on other people, or external forces, telling me how to live my best life, the quality of life I live is ultimately up to me.

Thank you for calling this out Gillian, there is a much bigger picture than the dollar she makes today, her words could be profoundly impacting someone's life, and not always for the better.
